Cool instrumental surf music from The Netherlands
One of the cool things about surf music is that each band kind of puts its own twist on it. Bevel Emboss is a surf band from the Netherlands (another thing that makes surf music interesting) that certainly does put its own twist on it. You can’t classify this as tribal surf, or classic surf, or even the kind of surf music that sounds like it belongs in a spy film. More than anything, this is kind of a cross between surf and world music (especially the song “Arabic”).
No matter how you classify it, this band will get your head and your feet moving. And isn’t that the point? To feel something when you listen to music. Why else would you listen?
