Loyal reader, whether you’ve been with us since the beginning (we launched in March) or you’re just joining us, we thank you. We appreciate all our readers and we want to let you know that we have some good things in store for 2013. Before giving you a preview, allow me to say that our music features are booked through April and our column The Guest List is booked through June. That being said, we’re always looking for people to be a part of this, so music artists and models, hit us up. So what’s on tap for 2013 at Incognito?

  • The surf music issue in February with featured model Josee Leone
  • You are going to love our St. Patrick’s Day issue in March, I promise you.
  • April is going to feature one funk band and one punk band.

As we begin the new year, allow me to tell you a few more things about Incognito. Our staff is small but mighty. If you are interested in joining our staff, hit us up, but know that you have a lot to live up to.

Rae Park is a complete wizard with the layouts for the magazine, and she provides much-needed film reviews since the only movies the head honcho sees are ones he’s already seen countless times (The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, etc.). She does an amazing amount of work every month and for the newly-released January issue, she did even more work than usual due to some technical difficulties with the head honcho’s laptop.

Carin Merritt is tremendous not only as our cocktails columnist, but also as a music writer. We know we can throw pretty much any assignment at her and she will be happy to do it. She has some good interviews lined up and she always comes up with a good cocktail recipe to share. Be sure to check out her stuff in every issue.

It’s not just our staff that is tremendous. All of our models thus far have been a treat to work with. Everyone that has contributed to the magazine – from the beer panelists to the guest columnists – have all made the magazine better and will continue to do so. So no, we can’t say what’s in store for the entire year, but we know it will be good and we hope you’ll join us for the journey.
