Yes, loyal reader, it’s true. We are looking for some enterprising young writer in Orange County, California, to join the Incognito team, and not just as someone to get donuts…although we do like donuts.

Job duties include:

  • helping to write some of the content for both the daily blog and the magazine
  • meeting with the editor-in-chief (he’s a hell of a boss) once a week
  • interaction on social media
  • plus other things as the need arises (and no, that doesn’t mean fetching coffee).

Announcing an Incognito cocktail contest

OK, loyal reader, by now you have seen the work of our lovely and talented mixology columnist Carin Merritt. You haven’t? Well, what are you waiting for? It premiered in the October issue in a column called The Merritts of Mixology. Go ahead and read it. I’ll wait.

OK, now that you’re caught up, here is the deal. We want your submissions for a cocktail (we have a name for it which we will disclose at a later time).

Guidelines

  • No whiskey or gin.
  • No gimmicks (fire, etc.).
  • Like The Zombie, this must be so stiff that patrons would be allowed only two.
  • Entries must be received by 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on 31 October. Send it to our Gmail: incognitomusicmag

The winning recipe will be published in the January 2013 issue of the magazine for all the world to see. We will accept multiple submissions from the same person. You have your guidelines.
