I know you’re expecting our weekly celebration of Jeff Lebowski (he’s The Dude so that’s what you call him), but I am doing something a little different today. I received a notice about Ghouls Night Out, and it just seemed like an interesting event.
This particular event is called Do As Thou Wilt. It is an evening of comedy, film, music, and lectures about British occultism in the 70s. (I told you it sounds like an interesting event. The evening includes:
- tarot readings
- a discussion of occult rock by Louise Brown of Iron Fist Magazine
- a spoken word performance by Al Cummins
- a discussion of religion and belief in horror films by Karen Oughton
- magic by Thoth Al-Ak Fbf
- The Power of The Witch – a BBC documentary from 1971
- Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell.
Do As Thou Wilt is from 7 to 10:30 at The Lexington in London. Admission is £7.
