Welcome to another edition of Feel-Good Friday. The goal of these posts is simple: to give you some good vibes as you head into the weekend. After all, you’ve worked hard this week, and it feels like you’ve worked even harder if you’re going to a job you can’t stand. So the least I can do is to give you some good vibes as you head into the time that is yours…when you don’t have to answer to any boss (except maybe your spouse).

I found Indubious simply by searching for reggae on Bandcamp. I’ve found that reggae bands are particularly good at fitting the bill on a Feel-Good Friday. This band is no different, especially with the song “Bright Day.” This song advocates doing things your own way no matter what anyone might say, and it includes the lyrics,  ”if you are not having fun, you are not doing it right.” I couldn’t have said it better myself. Let’s face it. That’s what weekends are for – having fun. So on this Feel-Good Friday, I encourage you to take those words with you and forget all about work. Whether you like your job or not, just enjoy yourself this weekend. Your email can wait until Monday. Make it a bright day and a bright weekend by checking out of work for a couple days.
